The Chancel Guild

The Chancel Guild prepare and maintain all the altar linens and vessels before each service on Sundays, and for all special services. This is a very dedicated ministry and has been classified, by it’s members themselves, as a privilege to serve on this Guild. “To wash, iron, dust, polish, decorate and set the Holy Table in readiness for services to honor and glorify God is a joy and a labor of love.”
Extensive training is provided for any one who would like to become a member of chancel.
The Chancel Guild also use their talents when decorating the church for the festivals of Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving, while also co-ordinates floral arrangements throughout the year. A flower chart is in the lower hall and members of the congregation are asked to donate flowers as memorials or in thanksgiving. A monetary donation is also acceptable.
